Attention Juniors - Are you on the list for Marshals & Ushers at Graduation? Check the Class of 2026 Google Classroom for your name! The first meeting about Marshals & Ushers will take place on Wednesday, March 12th, in the Cafeteria during Character Strong.

On the CTE office door is a list of current juniors who approved for a Co-op Placement for the 2025-26 school year. If you are on the 2025-26 Co-op list, you need to see Ms. Kellen in the CTE to get more information about the mandatory parent meeting for 2025-26 Co-op placements. 2025-26 Co-op Placement Parent Meetings held on the following dates: Tuesday, March 11, 202,5 at 6:00 pm and Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 5:00 pm Parents of 2025-26 Co-op Students must attend one of the meetings.

FFA MEMBERS ONLY - there will be a March Madness Chapter Meeting on March 20 at 3:30 pm in Tech 108 hosted by the Junior Officer.

Murray State Engineering Day competition winners. Congratulations to Ty Downey and Leo Recendez for winning 3rd place in Future Career & Technical Educators Joseph Eurich and Andrew Harrison won 2nd place in Cyber-Security Technology.

Congratulations Colonel & Lady Colonel Wrestlers who placed in the KHSAA State Wrestling tournament this past weekend in Lexington, Ky: Wyatt Payne 8th place; Kennedy Sohne 5th place; Jasmin Beckham 5th place & Evie Estes 6th place.

National Honor Society will meet Monday, March 24 - 3:30 - 4:15. The cord eligibility list has been posted outside R212. Any questions, please contact NHS President Alissa McLevain or see Mrs. Stovall.

SENIORS: Waltz Sign-ups will begin Monday on the Class of 2025 Google Classroom. Fill out the Google form and then go to the bookstore to pay ten dollars. Practice Begins on March 17th.

There will be a FCA meeting in the morning at 7:20 in Mr. Rutledge’s room T200. Everyone welcome. Just come on in when you get to school. The speaker is Cody Fox.

Congratulations to the Colonel Wrestling team on their 4th place finish at the KHSAA Region 1 Tournament and to the following Colonel wrestlers who placed in the tournament and advanced to the State Tournament: Wyatt Payne -2nd place; Jaxson Wallace 2nd Place; Latravion Johnson 2nd Place; Lane Corpe 4th place; Ethan Peckenpaugh 4th place; Asher Daily 5th place and Brock Crook 5th place.

Good Luck to the HCHS Wrestling Team at Regionals tomorrow 2/22/22!

The 6th District Tournament is next week at Union County High School. The HCHS Boys' and Girls' Basketball Teams have a bye and will proceed to the Championship Game. The Girls Championship Game - 2/25/25 at 7 PM. The Boys Championship Game - 2/26/25 at 7 PM.

Lady Colonels will also have a game on Friday, February 21, 2025, on the road at Calloway Co. High School. JV will play at 5:30 pm and Varsity at 7 pm.

There will be basketball at Henderson County High School on Friday, February 21, 2025. Henderson County will play Owensboro Senior at the originally scheduled time. Tickets can be purchased on GoFan.

HCHS Early Release Schedule Tuesday 2/18/25 Dismissal is at 2:00 PM

Due to the impending weather, Henderson County High School will not have after-school activities today, Tuesday, February 18, 2025. This includes meetings, practices, and games. Stay safe and warm!

Governor’s Cup Regional Academic Meet will be at HCHS on 2-22-25. The Community is encouraged to come watch our quick Recall team. Matches will be at 10:45 am, 12:30 pm, and then a final match at 2 PM. There will be no charge for entry. Fans should arrive about 10 minutes early for the matches. Once a match begins no one can enter. Fans should be quiet during the match.

All students attending KUNA in March please check the Y-Club Google Classroom for important registration information. Parent permission forms, the online information form, and room sign-ups are due on Tuesday at 3:30 PM!

Congratulations to the Track and Field team for competing in the President’s Day meet over the weekend. Avery Thompson and Aiden Hite finished 3rd in Pole Vault, and Austin Dunn finished 5th in Pole Vault. Kali Brewer and Drew Hagan Finished 6th and Jacob Nunn finished 2nd in Shot put. Mallory Hagan finished 6th in the 55-meter Hurdles.
