Summer School 2025: Key Information

  • Dates: Monday, June 2 - Friday, June 27, 2025

  • Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. daily

  • Attendance Policy:

    • Maximum of one absence permitted (two tardies = one absence).

    • Exceeding this limit will result in dismissal without credit.

  • Transportation:

    • Buses will leave each feeder elementary school at 7:15 a.m. and will return students to that school when summer school ends. 

    • Car riders should be dropped off and picked up at the FRONT entrance at HCHS. Student drivers will need to park in the Blue Unit lot and enter through the Main Entrance. Bus riders will be dropped off and picked up at the Red Unit awning that enters the building across from the Cafeteria - enter through Gate 1 (closest to Arlington).

  • Daily Schedule:

    • First Day: All students meet in the cafeteria.

    • Breakfast: Provided at HCHS at 7:30 a.m.

    • Lunch: Provided before dismissal.

    • Bus Departure: noon from HCHS.

  • Behavior: Standard school rules apply.

  • Enrollment: Your school counselor has contacted those who signed up or were recommended.
